Ralph Eugene Meatyard was born in May 15, 1925 in Normal, Illinois. He worked as an optician at Tinder-Krausse-Tinder before picking up photography after taking a photo of his son and joining in the Lexington Camera Club and Photographic Society of America. His photographs were shown in major museums and published in art magazines for his original and disturbing imagery created by camera. Unfortunately Ralph died in the height of the photo boom in May 7, 1972.
