Notes on Photoshop CS5

Nestle – where your tools are stack upon each other to access them you must left-click and hold.

USE COMMAND KEYS. DUH.

-        Command + = zoom in

-        Command - = zoom out

-        Command o = open

-        Command c = copy

-        Command v = paste

-        Command z = step back

To turn an image go to Image - > Image Rotation

CW and CCW

-        CW = clockwise

-        CCW – counter-clockwise

-        180 = ½ rotation

DON’T OVERUSE THE COLORS AND GO TOO FAR. OMG.

GO A LITTLE BIT LIGHTER. (OK. FOR INK.)

Go to Image -> Adjustments -> Levels

Channel Blue

Channel Green

Channel Red

Move just the black and white hershey’s kiss

Channel RGB – move just the brown hershey’s kiss (just a little lighter.

Files -> Save As -> JPEG

- Shift command “S”

(Never save over the original image OR ELSE YOU’RE DEAD.) 

ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO SAVE IT AS MAXIMUM FILE SIZE!!!! (IMPORTANT. DON’T FORGET!)

 Image -> MODE -> GRAYSCALE -> OK  (black and white) 
(sharpen at least once.)
